Read before downloading FileMaker Databases...
Most of the software programs available below for download were built upon the relational database engine, FileMaker Pro™. The programs will run equally well on computers running Windows™, Mac OS™ and Unix operating systems. Think of FileMaker Pro™ as being like a word processor. If someone gives/sells you a document created using Microsoft Word™, then you will need to have Word™ loaded on your computer in order to open and use the document. In the same way, if you download a copy of my software programs, you will need a license for FileMaker Pro™ loaded on your computer in order to use them, but don’t panic! Check out the alternatives in the next paragraph. FileMaker Pro™can be purchased online from a variety of retailer sites (e.g. www.Amazon.com) as well as from www.FileMaker.com.
Now, having said all this, there is another simpler (and cheaper) option. The other lists below offer the same programs in what is called a “runtime” version. This means the functionality of the database engine is built into the software. The difference is that you must download the version that is specific to your operating system. If you want the Rolodex program for a Windows OS, then download the Windows™ runtime version. If you use a Mac, then download the Mac OS runtime version. With this approach, you need not spend the money to purchase a copy of the FileMaker™ database engine. The source code is not included in the runtime version. You can enter data, delete data, import and export data, etc., but you can’t actually alter the software structure like you can if you are running a full copy of the software on FileMaker Pro™. For most users the runtime version works just fine. But if you happened to be a FileMaker™ user, then of course, you will have a copy of FileMaker Pro™ running on your machine and should download the full version (not the runtime) of my software programs. When you download a runtime version of the software packages, they come to you archived as .ZIP files (to protect them during their travel through various Internet servers) and must be “un-zipped” before use. Some computers (like Macs) generally recognize the ZIP file format and automatically unzip them for you. Some Windows PC’s may require that you manually unzip the packaged files.

Expense Report.fp7 (full version) -> An expense report handy for keeping track of expenses for work, personal business or home use.

Runtime Versions of the Software (FileMaker Pro not required): --> download either the Windows or the Mac OS version your system requires. The files should download as a “Zip” file format. That protects the main files during the download process. Once on your PC/Mac, un-”zip” the files and double click on the file icon. You should be off and running...
